Tarot Retreat!

Bring your tarot cards for a fun day of exploring tarot in many different ways! Take a walk on the fool's journey and how it makes the meanings of the deck easy to learn. We'll look at layers of interpretations when it comes to the cards and we'll have fun with simple readings during class. Bring your own lunch or select class fee to include lunch and a boxed set of tarot cards with guidebook.

Beginning Tarot - Level 1

A jam-packed, four-week journey introducing you to the Tarot deck in a simple and user-friendly way! Learn the history of Tarot, the layout of the deck, and dive into the cards to learn their properties and meanings. See how the cards can be a reflection of our own life cycles and healing path.

We will look at ways intuition can play a role in reading the cards or alter their meanings altogether. Basic layouts and creating a proper set up will also be introduced. Bringing your own Tarot deck is recommended but some decks will be available to borrow or available for purchase.

Intermediate Tarot - Level 2

We take what we learned in Level 1 and build on those skills for Level 2. We focus on layered meanings of the cards, multiples, timing, conjunctions, working with crystals, and setting up your space.

Tarot cards are not meant to tell your fortune or future. According to The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, "The most powerful sources of information come from within; the Tarot aids in coming in contact with one's Higher Self."

Tarot cards are probably the most recognizable and popular method for psychic readings. The cards themselves do not have mystic power, but as an information organization system they aid the psychic in gathering information about a person's question, and often propose a course of concrete action.
